Cherry Dolface Pin Up Model
When did your love of all things vintage first become apparent?
I started swing dancing when I was fourteen and it really got me into vintage culture. It started with the dancing and music, then I started dressing the part for shows, watching old movies and getting into old cars and homes.
What has been your biggest resource for learning about vintage fashion and beauty?
Old movies! When I started getting into vintage, the internet didn’t exist, so my favorite medium was old movies like ‘White Christmas’ and ‘How to Marry a Millionaire’. The internet has been a very helpful addition to my life, but I still find that you have to weed through a lot of garbage to find what you want.
What are some of your staple beauty products?
I just designed the perfect palette with Bomber Betty Cosmetics called the Cherry Dollface palette and it has all of my favorite things– 6 shadows, a blush, a highlighter, and my three lipsticks. I also live by Make Up For Ever HD foundation and They’re Real mascara by Benefit.
Who is your ultimate Old Hollywood bombshell inspiration?

Carole Landis is my absolute FAVORITE vintage actress. She was so funny and beautiful and classy. She died very young and tragically. Sad story.

What are some of your favourite retro musical picks?

I will always be in love with big band music– Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Django Reinhardt. I also love soul music- Otis Redding is my absolute all time favorite. Of course also old rockabilly– love Wanda Jackson, The Collins Kids, Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent.
