10) Rubbing Alcohol – One of the most important products you’ll want to keep with you at all times is 99% and 70% Isopropyl alcohol. I use a small amount in a beaker and dip various eye liner or lip pencils into the solution to disinfect the product after use on a client. You can also use this to wipe down your tools after use to keep everything sanitary.

These are just a few basic suggestions to keep in mind when you begin creating your kit. There are certainly a lot more aspects to touch on, but hopefully this will give you an idea on how to get started. It can be a lengthy process and require a lot of research to know exactly what products will work for you and your base clientele. Remember to think ahead and prepare a list a few days before your gig and this will give you time to check your inventory and restock any essential tools that may need to be replenished!
